The successful candidate will provide a warm welcome and exceptional experience to our guests in a prompt and courteous manner within the framework of the hotel and departmental guidelines. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): check-in and check-out services; answering guest inquiries, accommodating special requests and assisting in resolving any concerns or issues in person or on the telephone; providing information to guests as appropriate about the hotel and the surrounding area; ensuring that all guest accounting functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner; maintaining and securing a cash float for guest transactions and currency exchange; participating in upsell programs to ensure maximum profitability and assisting with emergency response as required.
This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual, with a minimum of 6 months previous customer service experience. The successful candidate must have exceptional guest service and communication (both verbal and written) skills, and strong attention to detail and interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility in shifts is essential, as night shifts will be required. Position requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift. Strong knowledge of computer systems required and additional languages are an asset.
